NUST Visit to Scotland

A really impactful visit to Scotland from the Namibian University of Science and Technology, led by Dr Erold Naomab, Vice Chancellor, to visit some of our members and discuss areas for partnership.

The first meeting at our member University of Strathclyde focussed on areas of cooperation on decarbonising the maritime sector and research collaboration and was then followed by a visit to City of Glasgow College to discuss partnerships in TVET and skills training, as well as student engagement.

Next it was up to Dundee for a tour of the Intelligent Growth Solutions (IGS) vertical farm and a hugely productive meeting with The James Hutton Institute to discuss partnerships and teacher/student swaps in agriculture.

A huge thanks to all involved for making time at short notice and providing such impactful meetings and tours
