In November SABA hosted a deegation from Cote d'Ivoire which included HE Alain-Richard Donwahi, Minister of Water and Forests, HE Jean-Luc Assi, Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development and HE Sara Affoue Amani, Ambassador over two days for a series of meetings and engagements.
On day one the ministers met with SABA members for a series of private meetings focussing on water, environment and technology. This was followed on day two by visits to RZSS Edinburgh Zoo to discuss conservation partnerships and The Royal Botanic Gardens for wide ranging talks which included discussions on research partnerships and support for the new botanic gardens in Abidjan.
Cote d'Ivoire is a relatively new market for Scotland and one we will be working with the Embassy to promote in the coming months.
