On the 3rd December SABA hosted His Excellency President Kenyatta of Kenya in Edinburgh for a round table meeting focussing on agriculture and water. With a selection of SABA members the president discussed opportunties in Kenya and listened to issues that members had regarding doing business in the country. His Excellency has since followed up directly with a number of the companies and SABA is planning a further series of engagements through his office and the High Commission.
SABA was also greatful for the attendance of Anne-Marie Trevelyan, Secretary of State for International Trade and President of the Board of Trade who gave an excellent overview of the UK governments future trade ambitions with Kenya
