Complex incidents demand confident leaders, clearly defined roles and a response structure that enables teams to coordinate resources, communicate effectively and make sound decisions under pressure.
Inverroy’s new three-day Incident Management Training course, aligned to ICS 300 learning outcomes, helps organisations build these essential capabilities.
Unlike courses that teach the Incident Command System purely as a theoretical model, Inverroy focuses on practical application. We help delegates understand how ICS principles can be adapted to complement their organisation’s existing governance, procedures, operating environment and risk profile.
A strong incident management capability can reduce disruption, support regulatory assurance and give senior leaders confidence that their teams are prepared to respond when it matters most.
Led by experienced, qualified ICS instructors who have managed complex incidents across multiple industries worldwide, the course combines interactive learning with scenario-based activities tailored to real operational challenges. The final day features a simulated exercise, giving delegates the opportunity to apply their learning in a realistic, high-pressure environment.
Participants will develop the knowledge, skills and confidence to:
Establish effective command, coordination and communication
Manage complex incidents involving additional resources and agencies
Implement incident action planning and operational periods
Strengthen command and general staff functions
Make faster, better-informed decisions under pressure
Protect people, operations and organisational reputation
The course is suitable for Incident Management Team members, Operational Managers, Emergency Response Team leaders, On-Scene Commanders and security, health and safety, risk and resilience professionals.
We are offering this course at a special introductory rate for the next three months. Courses are limited to a maximum of 25 delegates.
