Inverroy Crisis Management has announced the promotion of Kirsty Bremner to Head of Crisis & Continuity Management, marking a significant milestone in the company's continued growth and evolution.
The role has previously been overseen by Inverroy’s Managing Director and Founder, Matthew Wardner, but as the business has expanded, the decision was made to appoint an experienced, established team member to lead the Crisis and Continuity Management (CCM) function.
Kirsty joined Inverroy in late 2020 as Assistant Operations Manager and has since progressed through the consultancy ranks, from Junior Consultant to Senior Consultant, before stepping into the Head of CCM role in 2025. Over the past five years, she has worked across a wide range of sectors, delivering crisis management, business continuity and physical security solutions for national and international clients.
In her new role, Kirsty will lead Inverroy’s CCM consultants, ensuring the continued delivery of high-quality resilience solutions while driving departmental objectives and contributing to the wider goals of Inverroy Crisis Management as an Employee-Owned Trust.
Commenting on the appointment, Matthew Wardner said: “Kirsty should be extremely proud of this promotion. She has consistently demonstrated the leadership qualities, professionalism and expertise required to fulfil this role. She will lead a highly diverse and skilled group, from senior Police and Armed Forces officers to consultants with more than 25 years of corporate crisis and continuity experience. As Inverroy continues to grow, appointing someone of Kirsty’s calibre from within the business was a natural and important step.”
Speaking about her promotion, Kirsty Bremner said:
“This promotion means a great deal to me. Since joining Inverroy at the end of 2020, progressing through the business has always been a personal goal, and I’m incredibly proud to now be leading the Crisis and Continuity Management team.”
She added: “My primary focus will be supporting our consultants as they continue to deliver high-quality work for our clients, while ensuring the department meets its objectives for the year. I’m also looking forward to exploring new sectors and deliverables. The resilience landscape is constantly evolving, and staying ahead of emerging risks and client needs is critical.”
Looking ahead, Kirsty highlighted the importance of innovation and capability development within CCM. “We’ve made strong progress in expanding our training offering over the last year, and the addition of ICS 300 is a great step forward. I see us continuing to grow in new and exciting sectors while building on our core strengths. We have an incredibly experienced team that has played a key role in shaping Inverroy into what it is today.”
As organisations continue to face increasing uncertainty, from geopolitical instability to supply chain disruption and workforce challenges, effective crisis and continuity planning is no longer optional. Inverroy Crisis Management works closely with HSE, resilience and senior leadership teams to help them prepare for, respond to and recover quickly and effectively from disruptive events. With a highly experienced consultancy team and a continually evolving range of resilience solutions, Inverroy supports organisations in protecting their people, operations and reputation when it matters most.
