About the event

Tunisia is actively pursuing sustainable waste valorisation and decarbonisation strategies to align with global environmental standards and meet its climate commitments. Upcoming international Public-Private Partnership (PPP) tenders will focus on waste valorisation initiatives, creating significant opportunities for British companies to showcase innovative solutions and establish strategic partnerships.

Additionally, with the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) set to impact Tunisian exporters from early 2026, there is growing demand for decarbonisation technologies to maintain competitiveness in European markets. This trade mission will position UK firms as trusted partners in Tunisia’s green transition.

Objectives

  • Market Familiarisation: Provide British companies with insights into Tunisia’s waste management and decarbonisation landscape.

  • Policy Engagement: Facilitate meetings with Tunisian policymakers to present UK expertise and solutions.

  • Tender Awareness: Share information on upcoming international PPP tenders for waste valorisation projects.
