COTE D’IVOIRE DELEGATION - SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

SABA members had a series of private meetings with a delegation from Cote d’Ivoire which included HE Alain-Richard Donwahi, Minister of Water and Forests, HE Jean-Luc Assi, Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development and HE Sara Affoue Amani, Ambassador

NAMIBIA ENERGY AND RENEWABLES VISIT

SABA members, the University of Edinburgh was the setting for a meeting for other energy focussed SABA members with the Government of Namibia to promote their hydrogen and renewables sectors. Attendees from Namibia included HE Tom Alweendo, Minister of Mines and Energy, HE Obeth Kandjoze, Minister of Planning, Dr. James Mnyupe, Economic Advisor to the President, and Ms. Nangula Uaandja, Head, Namibia Investment Development and Promotion Board

KENYA WATER AND AGRICULTURE ROUNDTABLE

3rd November 2021

SABA held a meeting for members involved in the water and agriculture sectors for a round table discussion with His Excellency President Kenyatta of Kenya to discuss opportunities and barriers to trade, the meeting was also attended by Anne-Marie Trevelyan, Secretary of State for International Trade and President of the Board of Trade

TANZANIA TRADE OPPORTUNITIES - PRESIDENTIAL AND MINISTER OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

SABA members had the opportunity to meet with Her Excellency Samia Suluhu Hassan, President of Tanzania and HE Liberata Mulamula, Minister of Foreign Affairs during COP26 to discuss trade opportunities in Tanzania
